CUTTING OUT SOME FOODS COULD HELP ADHD CHILDREN

Daily Mail, February 2011

Research carried out in the Netherlands and reported in the Lancet Medical Journal suggested that children with ADHD should be tried in special diets to trace foods/additives, they may be triggering the disruptive behaviour.

The researchers say that the diets should be tried before Drugs are prescribed. Research shows that restricting the range of foods given to children witth ADHD can lead to Significantly Better Behaviour.

Professor Jan Bultelaar one of the lead researchers at Radboud University Nijmegen Medical Centre, said: ;We think dietary intervention should be tried in all cases of ADHD’. Send 3x 1st class stamps to HACSG for the complete research paper..
