GENETIC FAULT

April 2010

Scientists in Daejeon, South Korea, have discovered through research that a tiny Genetic fault triples the chances of children suffering with ADHD.

The Genetic code change is linked to a brain protein that helps to balance excitability and inhibition. This research was actually carried out on mice. The HACSG is just reporting this research outcome, but it does not mean we support the use of animals in research.
